Introducing Gear Pop

For quite some time now, I have been experimenting with the idea of creating a website solely focused around one thing — and that's featuring the best technology products this world has to offer. How many times have you found yourself clicking through endless amounts of items on Amazon, only to become lost in all the clutter? As a consumer, you shouldn't have to deal with that. In an effort to improve such an experience, I am proud to introduce GearPop.com.

Gear Pop is a community driven website that aims to make finding and purchasing technology a fun experience. Broken down into categories are currently over 200 products to choose from, with plenty more on the way. Ranging from desktop accessories to the latest Android device, there is something for everyone. If there is a product that you would like to see added to the Gear Pop directory, you can do so via the Suggest page.

While each and every product page features share buttons for Twitter and Facebook, as well as a section for comments, there are also the Gear Pop Forums. This is a great place for extending the conversation based on any technology related topic that you can think of. User registration is open, so feel free to sign up and start posting right away.

Gear Pop is much more than simple product pages, however. Featured throughout the website are guides pertaining to the latest trends in the tech industry. Are you wondering what gear is required in order to capture gameplay from your favorite console? There's a guide for that. Looking for cases for your brand new iPad mini? Yep, Gear Pop has you covered. And this is just the beginning. Expect to see a plethora of new content as time progresses.

As you can probably tell, a lot of work has gone into making a website like this possible. While it may be in its early stages, I have great confidence in seeing Gear Pop grow into a large and active community. Feel free to follow its social accounts on both Twitter and Facebook. This is a great way to keep up-to-date with the latest tech deals, announcements and more.
