Introducing Di Franco Gaming: The Website

Without a doubt in my mind, gaming is a huge part of my life. It always has been and always will be. Dating back to the days of playing my parents' Atari 2600 and ColecoVision, I will never forget how exciting it was to have the ability to switch between games at a moment's notice and discover different experiences. That was years ago, yet I still have vivid memories of those days.

Being a gamer is something I take a lot of pride in, hence my multiple efforts with uploading content to my Di Franco Gaming channel on YouTube. Unfortunately, the channel never turned into what I had originally imagined. The thing is, I love playing games. There's no denying that. However, there's something about recording myself while gaming that just doesn't flow well with me. I've accepted the fact that providing live commentary is not something I am good at.

Because I enjoy sharing my passion for gaming so much, I still want to express that through another form of content creation — a website. As of today, I am proud to introduce DiFrancoGaming.com, a video showcase that features some of the best gaming related videos the Internet has to offer. I wanted to take the approach I did with GearPop and simply focus on content curation and form a community out of it.

Anyone has the ability to submit videos to the Di Franco Gaming library, whether it's your own personal content or not. Videos of all categories are accepted. From simple unboxings to in-depth Let's Play videos, the possibilities are endless. You can begin submitting videos here.

While my primary focus with Di Franco Gaming is to create the ultimate video showcase, the website has so much more to offer — including a social aspect. Everyone has the option of creating a user account. This enables you to "Like" videos and collect them in your personal profile. Each and every video also contains a comments section, so don't hestitate to speak up and express your opinion!

If you are interested in purchasing a game after watching a particular video, there is a "Buy from Amazon" button located on every video page. You can also discover other content that you may find interesting by referring to the "You May Also Like" section located under a video's tags.

As you can hopefully see, I have put a lot of time into Di Franco Gaming. While my YouTube channel never quite worked out, this new website is definitely something that will continue to be updated on a regular basis. There is hardly any maintenance that goes into it. In other words, adding videos is incredibly simple, thus making the website easy to manage on my end.

This is a brand new start with Di Franco Gaming, and I am excited to share it with everyone. If there are any features you'd like to see on the website in the future, please don't hesitate to contact me. I am constantly listening to your feedback. Whether it pertains to my website projects or YouTube videos, community engagement is what keeps things going. I cannot thank you enough for that.
