Introducing The #AskDavid Forum

Before I get into today's announcement, let's talk about my new personal website design for a bit. I usually publish an in-depth post detailing everything that is new, but isn't watching a video far more interesting? Of course it is, which is why I encourage you to do just that.

Check out my walkthrough video right below. Of course, keep in mind that it's already somewhat outdated — but for good reason! Once you're finished watching the video, feel free to read on to see what else is new.

Do you remember a while back when I had the "YouTube Q&A" forum on this website? It was a very simple approach in accepting questions from the community, of which would later be answered in dedicated videos of mine. Not only was it a great way of connecting with my viewers, but it was also an excellent method that I used to consistently have video ideas queued up for whenever I needed them.

Well, as of today, I am happy to announce that the forum is officially back! And to coincide with the recent launch of my podcast, I have chosen to name it The #AskDavid Forum. Notice the consistency? I feel that's important whenever you are working with any kind of brand, even personal.

So, how does this differ from The #AskDavid Podcast? For one, this new forum is strictly text based and has nothing to do with my podcast — hence why I was careful to separate the two with different names.

And secondly, the forum is open to questions that can make for interesting video topics. For example, are you curious about my thoughts on the next iPhone? I want to hear from you. Or maybe you're looking for tips on how to improve your YouTube channel? Feel free to ask! That's what this new forum is all about.

Community is important to me, so I am confident in seeing this forum take off. Of course, this isn't going to happen without your participation, so click here to get started!
