Summer Site 2015: It's Finally Time to Create Something Awesome

As someone who is openly passionate about content creation, I am constantly expressing myself through video content, mobile photography and probably the most obvious of all — websites.

I take a lot of pride in creating websites and publishing original content, which is why I want to extend the experience to you, my community. It's time for you to take action, and that is why I am excited to introduce something new. I'm giving you a summer project where it's your goal to create a website related to a topic that you are passionate about. I call it Summer Site 2015.

Starting on June 21 and ending July 31, Summer Site 2015 makes the creation process simple and straightforward. Follow the steps right below to get started:

Step 1: Sign up for web hosting via Bluehost.
Step 2: Complete initial setup of your website, which is explained here.
Step 3: Once ready, submit your website to me using this form.

Please note that all participants must create a new website using my unique Bluehost link. This is simply your way of supporting my content since I am a Bluehost affiliate. It's also your chance to express your creativity with a new idea that is unique to this project.

Because this is my first attempt at doing something like this, I encourage you to submit your feedback. I'm hoping to make this an annual project. And of course, if you don't understand something specific, please feel free to contact me.

I wish you luck with this project! I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

Edit: Apparently, offering the chance to win an Amazon gift card is against Bluehost's terms of service for affiliates. I was not aware of this at the time of announcing the contest, so I sincerely apologize if I misled anyone with false promises.

To make up for my mistake, all Summer Site 2015 signups will be given one month of free promotion on my personal website — which, I believe, does not violate any form of affiliate agreement.
