Introducing Ad for 5: Version 2.0
Paving road for its future, my latest project has been applying a complete redesign to Ad for 5, a unique advertising platform I introduced in early June. Even during the site's launch, I knew the initial design was simply a testing ground. After observing overall usage from a variety of visitors, the time to implement a new feel for the site has arrived, as well as introduce a few new features.
So what's new, exactly?
Complete Redesign
Being the most obvious change of them all, Ad for 5 has been completely redesigned from the ground up. Everything is now running via WordPress. Not only is the site more scalable than ever, but I also have the ability of introducing new features whenever I feel the need to expand. Oh, and of course, the site as a whole looks much better.
Gold Spots
Looking at the ad grid, you will notice there are several gold-colored spots. These are called "gold spots." Brilliant name, right? Any advertiser who is lucky enough to acquire a gold spot will be promoted and retweeted via Twitter to 11,000+ followers. These new ad blocks are sold for the same price of just $5. To acquire one, let's just say your timing has to be good.
Sidebar
A brand new sidebar now resides on most pages. At this moment, it simply holds a graphic leading visitors to the official Ad for 5 Twitter account, as well as information regarding gold spots. The sidebar will present new features and improvements as time progresses.
I'm excited to see what these changes bring to Ad for 5. As always, feel welcome to leave your thoughts and suggestions in the comments below. Also, for those advertising on the site thus far, thank you for your support. Hopefully you have gotten something out of it, and will continue to do so over time.

David,
I'm really enjoying the new layout of the advertising site. Pleasing to the eye will keep people coming back and make people want to buy a spot. Love it!
